Funny cat drinking milk from a priceless saucer joke
I was walking through the city the other day, when I saw this cat lapping up milk from an interesting looking saucer in the doorway of a run-down terraced house. Being a keen antiques collector, I took a closer look and indeed: it was priceless Ming Dynasty porcelain piece.
I could scarcely contain my excitement as I knocked on the door. An old guy opened it.
"Sorry to bother you," I said, "but I couldn't help notice your fine cat, and wondered if I could buy him."
"He's not really for sale," replied the old man.
"100 quid?? Blow me down!" exclaimed the old man, and agreed to the sale.
"Oh, and by the way," I continued nonchalantly as I handed him the money. "Any chance you could throw in the saucer for a tenner?"
"No way!" he laughed. "This is my lucky saucer. I've sold 10 cats this week already."
